Help! I'm Drowning!

We all do it, spend hours pouring over blogs when there are things to be done. But I just can't help myself. There are so many fantastic blogs out there yet so little time.

So far today here is what I'm avoiding...

1. Cleaning my daughters toy room.
2. Walking
3. Organizing the closets
4. Grocery shopping
5. Bill Paying

I don't know about you, but it does not make for a very fun day. But I am a responsible adult so I will get to it (eventually). So the question I have for you, because I am absolutely horrible at this is...how do you juggle reading all the wonderful blogs out there along with everything else that we have going on?

I look forward to reading all of your pearls of wisdom!

It's so hard to juggle everything in a day. I take it a day at a time. I tell myself to not go out of control, but I always do! I give myself a number of blogs a day and after that number I stop. It's worked for a week now. I have so many blogs I follow that I do my best to visit everyone but it doesn't always work.

I love your list of avoidances... keep up the good work! LOL or should I say the lack of work!

It's hard. I love blogging, but I don't always get to everyone's each day. I try to get to anyone who has commented on my posts first and then I catch up with the others as soon as I can. It's worked for me so far.

I don't have any kids (unless diva dogs count...), but I always split my activities. For example, I read and write blog posts during the morning, at noon I work on my WIP, then I watch TV at night.

The cleaning happens on the weekends, when TV isn't that interesting and not much blogging happens. Sometimes I screw everything up by breaking the rules, but this is how I usually roll.

Best of luck with your schedule!

I'm getting a little overwhelmed with it all too. I never used to miss any posts of my followers. But now I'm over 200 and it's tough. I do visit everyone at least a couple of times a week, but I always feel guilty for missing anything! It's really hard. Multi-tasking helps - I read blogs when I'm drying my hair, putting on makeup, eating, cooking... It's hard!

I am the worst when it come to walking away from blogs to do work. Good luck with yours!

I probably spend too much time reading blogs but I love it. I try to limit it to before work and then after supper for an hour.

Right now, work is super slow and so I'm reading blogs. Shhhh! Don't tell my boss! Actually, the manager is fine with me bringing in my own netbook. I always get my work done and patients always come first--there just aren't many of them right now. :-)

You mean I'm supposed to do OTHER thing??? Uh oh. I was wondering why the laundry was falling over and spilling out of the hampers and the dirty dishes were piling up in the sink. At least I picked up my kids from school today - or was that yesterday...
