In My Mailbox...

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library. You can find more information on how to participate in the In My Mailbox meme by visiting The Story Siren.

Of course there are those books that were pretty much a given to be in my mailbox this week, like...
Paranormalcy and
Clockwork Angel.
Both fantastic!
Both well worth the wait!
Then another book caught my eye that I'm so excited to read...

Goodreads Description:
From Lisi Harrison, the New York Times bestselling author of The Clique and Alphas, comes a new series with a fresh twist on high school, romance, and the horrors of trying to fit in.

They prefer to call themselves RADs, but some call them monsters. So far, the "monster" community has kept a low profile in Salem, Oregon, but this year two new girls enroll at Merston High School, and the town will never be the same.

Created just fifteen days ago, Frankie Stein is psyched to trade her father's lonely formaldehyde-smelling basement lab for parties and friends. But with a student body totally freaked out by rumors of monsters stalking the halls, Frankie finds that life in the "normi" world can be rough for a chic freak like her.

She thinks she finds a friend in fellow new student Melody Carver--but can a normi be trusted with her big secret?

Along with this fantastic new book, there is a line of clothing and even sweeter, Mattel has launched a new line of dolls that are literally to die for. There’s my personal favorite...Draculaura, daughter of Dracula, her best friend is Clawdeen Wolf, whose father is obviously a Werewolf, and classmate Frankie Stein, daughter of Frankenstein of course. The rest of the gang includes, Cleo De Nile,Deuce Gorgon and last but not least, Lagoona Blue.

My daughter received these dolls for her birthday and they are fantastic! I'm tempted to go and and buy myself a set to display with my Barbies...yes I collect Barbies and these lovelies would be a delicious edition and who doesn't love monsters?

So now that I have totally over shared for the day...tell me what's in your mailbox this week? I Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!

OMG I saw this book on another blog and it sounds awesome. I love that Draculaura doll. I so want one. I wonder if I can get one from Amazon.com? Hmm.

Okay, I'm still waiting for Paranormalcy. Grr. But I got Nevermore by Kelly Creagh, You by Charles Benoit, and The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June by Robin Benway. I'm waiting for my copy of Jess Verday's The Haunted, and Hilary Wagner's Nightshade City. And now I want The Duff, and Firelight too. *cries into pillow*

Gah! You know my TBR pile will never shrink. Oh well. lol.

This monsterhigh book sounds great! Seriously. I love the dolls and the idea that they have a clothing line. How can I not love a book with character names like the ones you mentioned!

It's a good thing I'm going to the bookstore soon!
