In My Mailbox...

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. Anyone can participate in IMM and you are not limited to only sharing books that arrive via your mailbox. You can also share books that you've bought or books that you've gotten at the library. You can find more information on how to participate in the In My Mailbox meme by visiting The Story Siren.

This week was yet another exciting week for my mailbox.

First up is Firelight by Sophie Jordan.
I spent my afternoon yesterday flying through this one and it is fantastic! What an awesome new concept. If you haven't checked it out yet, you simply must! I'm already pining away for the next insallment!
Goodreads Descripion:
With her rare ability to breathe fire, Jacinda is special even among the draki—the descendants of dragons who can shift between human and dragon forms. But when Jacinda’s rebelliousness leads her family to flee into the human world, she struggles to adapt, even as her draki spirit fades. The one thing that revives it is Will, whose family hunts her kind. Jacinda can’t resist getting closer to him, even though she knows she’s risking not only her life but the draki’s most closely guarded secret.

Next, in my mailbox is of course The Duff by Kody Keplinger. This little number is next in my reading pile and I can't wait!

Goodreads Description:
Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn't think she's the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She's also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her "Duffy," she throws her Coke in his face.

But things aren't so great at home right now. Desperate for a distraction, Bianca ends up kissing Wesley. And likes it. Eager for escape, she throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with Wesley.

Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out that Wesley isn't such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she's falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone.

So that's that for my mailbox this week. But fear not, I can't stay away from the bookstore so there's more to come next week!
What about all of you? What's in your mailbox?

Oooo, I can't wait to read THE DUFF, and thanks for the tip about Firelight--it looks like a fun read! MOCKINGJAY is in my mailbox this week :)

For some reason, my pre-order for The DUFF hasn't been sent out yet. At least Mockingjay (which I pre-ordered in the same shipment) was sent (and I finished it this weekend).

I've got three books arriving this week, and 9 other books that I've recently bought or ordered. Yep, I've got a lot of catching up to do. :)

I actually have a giant pile from the library. Way too many to list and I don't even remember them all! Lol! I did get the Body Finder and that's pretty good so far. I am interested in the Sophie Jordan books, she's on my list. :)

Two awesome books that I haven't read but plan to pick up one day soon because of all the wonderful things I keep hearing.

Thanks Renae!
