On My Wishlist

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City. It's where you can list all the books you desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click here.

So this week on my wishlist is a soon to be released book that I have been pining away for...Torment (Fallen #2) by Lauren Kate releases the 28th of this month and it is certain to be worth the wait. I mean just look at this gorgeous cover!

Goodreads Description:
How many lives do you need to live before you find someone worth dying for? In the aftermath of what happened at Sword & Cross, Luce has been hidden away by her cursed angelic boyfriend, Daniel, in a new school filled with Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans. Daniel promises she will be safe here, protected from those who would kill her. At the school Luce discovers what the Shadows that have followed her all her life mean - and how to manipulate them to see into her other lives. Yet the more Luce learns about herself, the more she realizes that the past is her only key to unlocking her future...and that Daniel hasn't told her everything. What if his version of the past isn't actually the way things happened...what if Luce was really meant to be with someone else?

The next book on my list is... Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
There has been so much exciting buzz about this book that I couldn't help but add it to my list.

Goodreads Description:
Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit of a wicked streak. She's spent years keeping everyone at a distance—even her closest friends—and it seems her senior year will be more of the same...until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can't seem to stay away from him. What she doesn't know is that Luc works in Acquisitions—for Hell—and she possesses a unique skill set that has the King of Hell tingling with anticipation. All Luc has to do is get her to sin, and he’s as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance.

Unfortunately for Luc, Heaven has other plans, and the angel, Gabe, is going to do whatever it takes to make sure that Luc doesn’t get what he came for. And it isn't long before they find themselves fighting for more than just her soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay…for all of them.

That's it for my list...at least for today. So you know the drill, what books are you just pining away for? I'm always looking for more great books to add to the pile!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm sorry but Torment is the most magnificent cover! I stare at in and a million thoughts rush my brain. So neat.

Thanks for the link. I think I'll have to check it out.

Yup, Torment is on my list too. I've just got Personal Demons (but you knew that, lol) so I can't wait to read that one.

So many good books :)

Torment wasn't on my list but maybe it should be. That cover is incredible and everyone else seems to have it on their lists...
