G Is for Goodreads

Words alone cannot express how addicted I am to this site. Each week when I post my Wishlist I have so many of you comment that you love the books...well, this is where I find my books. There are so many amazing lists to choose from like this one, 2011 Book Releases I Crave. Or you can simply search for your favorite authors or genres.

One of the fun parts is their widgets. Once you create a reading list, you can make collages out of them for your blogs, much like the two examples that I have in my sidebar.

There are so many great features on this site, you can invite friends and share reviews with them. Join groups and hear what others are reading in your favorite genres and then discuss them.

I will admit that I have yet to explore every nook and cranny of Goodreads and there is so much more to offer. So if you need one more thing other than blogging, Twitter, Facebook, you should check it out here. Enjoy!

I must admit I'm a little addicted too. Not sure of why I need to keep updating what page I'm on of each book I read, but I do! lol

I haven't used it as much as some people. I tend to just see what's new according to everyone's TBR lists that end up in my inbox. Other than rating a book I've just read and announcing what I'm now reading, I don't do anything else. I still don't understand the majority of the features.

I absolutely love Goodreads. But, it's also been bad for me... now I have found way too many books that I really must read... I just have to find time to get around to them.

I'm the worst on Goodreads! I have so many update alerts and people reaching out to me, and I never go over there. I seriously need to start visiting more often. Thanks for the reminder!

I think I'm going to have to get more serious about using this site--I've only just dipped in a little here and there. Thanks for the tips!

I'm like Kenda, I haven't explored much. But it really does sound like a fantastic place to find amazing reads.

I've been on Goodreads for awhile now and still haven't explored every nook and cranny yet. It's a very cool site!

I use it and I like it, but I don't go nearly as deep as you.

LOVE Goodreads!!!!! I love scrolling through the books I have already read and adding to my huge list of books to read! I love reading others people's thoughts and books and comparing them to my own.

I still haven't joined Goodreads - mostly because it sounds like I'll be addicted once I'm on .. and there's just no time at the moment!

I use Goodreads to keep track of my books, but haven't explored anything else. Probably don't have time and shouldn't be on the Internet more than I am.

I adore Goodreads. I've met some really fun and friendly people in some of the groups and I love keeping all my TBR pile in one place online.

I'm on Good Reads, but I will admit freely that I'm totally lost there.

I'm with Jemi, I'm not sure I have time for anything else right now. But I've definitely heard lots of good things about it. Plus, I do like those collages I see everywhere. :)
