Live It...Learn It...Love It

As writers we live by a game plan. It may not be conducive to any nonwriterly people we may come in to contact with, but we live by it just the same. And we love it, regardless of the raised brows and crazed looks it earns us.

My plan goes something like this...

*Wake up at 5:00 in the morning, get ready for work, then blog until it's time to leave.

*Stumble through my day (because I'm usually so tired.) That of course is where the coffee comes in.

*Get home from work, fix dinner, homework, time with the kiddos. (You get the idea.)

*Once the bed time routines are complete, I breathe a sigh of relief, pull out my laptop and write until the wee hours of the morning. Who needs sleep anyway right?

*Then I go to bed so I can get up and do it all over again the next day!

But I love what I do and I can't imagine not writing. So spill...how crazy is your game plan each day?

I get up at 6:00 and start. So you have an hour on me. I try to write between getting Anna Li to school and when I have to go to work and for about 20-30 minutes on my lunch break after I go for a walk. At night I read most of my blogs. I need to write more then but I'm tired. Maybe another cup of coffee?

My game plan always involves lots of caffeine. :)

By the time I have the opportunity to write, I'm so exhausted from the day that I'm pretty much out by 10 o'clock during the week. I wish I could stay up late into the night writing, but I'd never be able to function at work. Maybe I just need more stamina (something that seems to be slipping away on me...)

I generally get up between 5:30-6:00am, read my favorite blogs, write in my own blog then get my kiddos up for school. make it to the gym by 9:00 workout until 10:30, then run errands. Home by 11:30, shower put 3 year old and 10 month old down for nap at 12:00..while they are napping I check twitter/facebook/blogs then write until 2:30pm when kiddos come home and wake up from naps. Since I stay at home while my husband works I don't get a lot of time to write so when I do (on his off days) I really try to get as much in as possible. Kiddos go to bed at 8pm then its "our time" so I try to write a little while he plays his game or watches TV, but I usually end up falling asleep with my laptop in my bed.
