This week In My Mailbox...

Bloodlines (Bloodlines #1) by Richelle Mead

Goodreads Description:
The first book in Richelle Mead's brand-new teen fiction series - set in the same world as Vampire Academy.

When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive - this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone's out for blood.

Fury (The Fury Trilogy #1) by Elizabeth Miles

Goodreads Description:
Sometimes sorry isn't enough....
It’s winter break in Ascension, Maine. The snow is falling and everything looks pristine and peaceful. But not all is as it seems...

Between cozy traditions and parties with her friends, Emily loves the holidays. And this year’s even better--the guy she’s been into for months is finally noticing her. But Em knows if she starts things with him, there’s no turning back. Because his girlfriend is Em’s best friend.

On the other side of town, Chase is having problems of his own. The stress of his home life is starting to take its toll, and his social life is unraveling. But that’s nothing compared to what’s really haunting him. Chase has done something cruel...something the perfect guy he pretends to be would never do. And it’s only a matter of time before he’s exposed.

In Ascension, mistakes can be deadly. And three girls—three beautiful, mysterious girls—are here to choose who will pay.

Em and Chase have been chosen.

Vanish (Firelight #2) by Sophie Jordan

Goodreads Description:
To save the life of the boy she loves, Jacinda did the unthinkable: She betrayed the most closely-guarded secret of her kind. Now she must return to the protection of her pride knowing she might never see Will again—and worse, that because his mind has been shaded, Will’s memories of that fateful night and why she had to flee are gone.

Back home, Jacinda is greeted with hostility and must work to prove her loyalty for both her sake and her family’s. Among the few who will even talk to her are Cassian, the pride’s heir apparent who has always wanted her, and her sister, Tamra, who has been forever changed by a twist of fate. Jacinda knows that she should forget Will and move on—that if he managed to remember and keep his promise to find her, it would only endanger them both. Yet she clings to the hope that someday they will be together again. When the chance arrives to follow her heart, will she risk everything for love?

In bestselling author Sophie Jordan’s dramatic follow-up to Firelight, forbidden love burns brighter than ever.

That's all for this week. Of course this is probably a good thing now that the school year is in full swing. I really need my TBR pile to remain under control. (Yeah right!) Now it's your turn to share the contents in your mailbox.

I've never heard of The Fury, but wow it sounds good. (Darn it because I was trying not to buy anymore books for a bit--which hasn't work so well yet).

Bloodline is on my list, but I want to reread Last Sacrifice first (even though they're different series). Vanish is also on my list, but I have to read Firelight first.

I bought Until The End by Christopher Pike, so that's what I'm currently reading. :D

GREAT LIST! A few tidbits...

I just heard of BLOODLINES but it's already one of the hottest books according to a poll that I saw just the other day for Hollywood Crush. It's dominating the charts.

FURY I've heard AMAZING THINGS ABOUT. Like AMAZING. Those who've read it can't stop talking about it!!!

VANISH is to die for! Sophie Jordan is a knock out! I adore her books, both adult and young adult. She's as sweet as pie should you ever get the chance to meet her too!
